As already announced,the SIDO event (the Intelligent Internet of Things Showroom) took place on the 5th and 6th of April 2017. The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region exhibited during this events some objects created by student from the Saint-Etienne Higher School for Art and Design (ESADSE) and from Politecnico in Milan.
This showroom offered to the French, Catalan and German delegations the opportunity to meet up and dialogue on the digital economy topic, so as to skech out some common projects.
During the TV show – that will be online soon – the Vice-President Juliette Jarry announced the launching of the Young Connected Designers Contest, whose goal is to involve students from design schools of our four regions, so that they find the perfect design answering the needs of Limonié, a startup from Grenoble.
Some scale models will be proposed by the students from the four design schools of each region during a Battle Week coordinated by Saint-Etienne Higher School for Art and Design, on the basis of a specification note developed by a company.
